What Activities Do Snowseekers Offer?
Our main activities are skiing and snowboarding. To that end we offer two western trips, sometimes three, each season. We also offer at least one Midwest trip. Because we have a mix of families, singles and couples we are able to get appropriate, comfortable accommodations for all trip participants at a great price. We have special relationships with some resorts and trip providers. Being one of the many affiliates of the Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council, our members also have opportunities for other activities and trips. As a year-round social group, we enjoy parties, picnicing, biking, golfing and other off season activities.

At each meeting there is usually a program demonstrating the latest in ski equipment, how to improve your skiing techniques, or a presentation from a member telling about and showing video/slides of a recent spectacular trip they recently returned from.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 21, 2010 AT NOON
HALF DAY FOREST PRESERVE—SHELTER B
We have a shelter, so come one, come all, rain or shine. Half Day Forest Preserve is in south east Lake County near Vernon Hills. The entrance and parking area are located on the east side of Route 21 (Milwaukee Avenue), south of Route 60 (Townline Road) and just north of Route 22 (Half Day Road). We will be at shelter B. There is an area for softball/volleyball, a horseshoe pit, and nearby hiking trails and fishing pond. There will be games, good food, great friends, AND the opportunity to sign up for trips.
As always the club will supply the meat and paper goods, so your job is to bring your drinks and a dish to pass. If you know someone interested in our club invite them to come and check us out. Any questions call Evelyn (847) 223 5265.
